Josh goes to work every day to solve meaningful problems in the world, using the power of software. Josh joined Brighte in 2021 as the Head of Product for Energy, before becoming the company’s first Chief Product Officer just one year later. Josh is a passionate, enthusiastic and energetic product leader with over a decade of experience working directly with on-premise products, software-as-a-service products, product growth teams, and customer facing platform services. Prior to Brighte Josh spent nine and a half years at Atlassian building products that customers love, at scale. Josh was the Principal Product Manager for Cloud Platform, where he led the development of multi-product services that share data across the set of Atlassian products, and also spent time as a Product Manager on JIRA and HipChat. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science (Business Information Technology) from UNSW. He is a former Student Mentor at the School for Social Entrepreneurs Australia and is a volunteer lifesaver at Surf Life Saving Australia. Outside of work, Josh is a keen landscape photographer, runner, swimmer, and has a soft spot for sunrise and sunset at the beach.
