Cancellation, Registration and Privacy Policy for Smart Energy Council Events

Cancellation / Substitution Policy

Cancellations will be accepted 5 working days prior to the event and fees refunded, less a 20% administration fee.

Transfers or substitutions to other persons will be accepted at any time but must be notified in writing.

Inclusions

The registration fee includes all sessions, presentations and where advertised meals and refreshments.

The cost of transport, parking and accommodation must be met by the delegate.

Photography and Videography

While attending an event you may be photographed or videographed at the event, these photographs and video recordings may be used for promotional purposes.

COVID-19 

In relation to events of any kind of the Smart Energy Council or its related entities the following policy applies:

Due to the rapidly changing nature of Covid-19 and the respective public health policy responses, the Smart Energy Council will follow and comply with the current and updated Covid-19 policies published by the respective state governments, except where otherwise stated. 

The Smart Energy Council does not take responsibility for changes at any time to the health responses of any state in relation to our events. It is the responsibility of event patrons to ensure they remain up to date with the latest state based Covid-19 policies for the relevant event.

Your name and company name (no contact details) may be provided to the Event Partners in an attendee list for their records.

In registering for Smart Energy Council events, relevant details will be incorporated into the Smart Energy Council database. These details will be used for the purpose of providing information on upcoming events and industry news. You can update your communication preferences or unsubscribe by logging in to your user account or use the links in the footer of a communication.

Miscellaneous

This policy is effective from 06 January 2022. We may change this policy from time to time. Although we intend to observe this Terms of Use Policy at all times, it is not legally binding on the SEC in any way.
