Nigel Morris has been involved in solar for almost 30 years and has worked for Solar Analytics for the last five years as Head of Business Development and Solar Technology Advocate. He is listed as one of the world’s Top 20 Solar Energy Influencers and hosts the top-ranking Solar Insiders and Great Solar Business podcasts. Nigel was awarded the prestigious CEC’s Outstanding Contribution to Industry Award in 2018 and SEC’s Industry Advocacy Award in 2011. He has been an industry representative on the CEC Retailer Code of Conduct Panel for five years and the Installer Reference Group for two years. Nigel is also a senior advisor to several local and International solar companies. He has been involved in almost every aspect of the solar industry including manufacturing, installing, selling and designing solar, monitoring and storage systems around the world. Prior to joining Solar Analytics, he was: • Chief Executive Officer of Roof Juice, a premium solar retailer • Founder of Solar Business Services acting as a consultant, analyst, industry advisor and business coach • Founder of Moto-Electro, an electric motorcycle business • Senior manager at BP Solar for almost twelve years • Director, manufacturing manager, installer and salesperson at Rainbow Power Company In his spare time Nigel is a prolific blogger and is a passionate electric motorcycle owner.
