Nicola helps design the energy system of the future, with key functions including scenario development, demand forecasting, reliability assessments, and economic modelling for the Integrated System Plan. Nicola’s team is responsible for delivering AEMO’s flagship forecasting and planning publications, including the Integrated System Plan, Gas Statement of Opportunities, and Electricity Statement of Opportunities. Joining AEMO in 2014, Nicola has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy and environment sectors in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa and North America. Prior to AEMO, Nicola held senior management roles with strategic consultancy firms Jacobs and Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM).
