Clare Sykes is Cluster Manager for NewH2 – Hunter Hydrogen Technology Cluster, and is a strategist and advisor in resources and energy sector value chains. She has worked across government and listed companies and has led and supported various multi stakeholder initiatives including technology and decarbonisation roadmaps, industry cluster development and challenge-based innovation programs.
A mining engineer (UNSW), GAICD, and Grad Dip. Applied Finance Clare brings a broad perspective to the scope and possibilities in future energy and resource sectors. She is a Churchill Fellow and serves on the Advisory Board of the Newcastle Institute of Energy and Resources (NIER) and Chair of Resources NSW an initiative of the NSW Energy and Resources Knowledge Hub.
