Shawn Ticehurst

Shawn Ticehurst is the Head of IAG’s Research Centre and leads a team of research and innovation experts focused on reducing costs and improving quality across IAG’s value chain. He specialises in the automotive industry, partnering with a global network of research teams and working with global car manufacturers to stay at the forefront of new technology. He has over 30 years of experience in the sector working in Australia, Germany, and the USA with brands such as BMW and Audi. Shawn has been involved with electric vehicles for close to 10 years. IAG is Australia largest general insurer, providing insurance under leading brands, including NRMA Insurance, RACV, CGU, WFI in Australia, and NZI, State, and AMI in New Zealand.
