Registration and Admission Policy

All Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition registrants and attendees must be over 16 years of age.

All Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition registrants and attendees must be dressed in appropriate attire for a business trade exhibition.

Photography and Videography

While attending an event you may be photographed or videographed at the event, these photographs and video recordings may be used for promotional purposes.

Privacy Policy

Your name and company name (no contact details) may be provided to the Event Partners in an attendee list for their records.

In registering for Smart Energy Council events, relevant details will be incorporated into the Smart Energy Council database. These details will be used for the purpose of providing information on upcoming events and industry news. You can update your communication preferences or unsubscribe by logging in to your user account or use the links in the footer of a communication.

Canvassing and Soliciting

Canvassing or soliciting for business by organisations who are not sponsors or exhibitors or are otherwise unauthorised personnel during the exhibition is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited canvassing activities include but are not limited to distribution of promotional material, wearing of heavily branded promotional attire and actively encouraging exhibitors and visitors to view goods and services in another location. Entry to the Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition is permitted to trade visitors on the condition that they do not attempt to canvass products or services whilst visiting the exhibition.

Any visitor attempting to canvass Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition exhibitors or visitors will be asked to leave. 

Miscellaneous

This policy is effective from 27 November 2025.

We may change this policy from time to time. Although we intend to observe this Terms of Use Policy at all times, it is not legally binding on the SEC in any way. From time to time we may regard it as necessary or desirable to act outside the policy the Council may do so, subject only to any other applicable contractual rights you have and any statutory rights you have under applicable legislation.
